Information we handle

We use information you provide to answer enquiries, manage newsletter subscriptions and, when you order, process checkout, payment, refunds and fulfilment. D1 stores site checkout and order records. Stripe processes card payments. Transactional email is sent through Cloudflare Email Sending, or Resend where configured.

When you submit a form, the rate limit and Cloudflare bot check use your IP address for the check, and Cloudflare may log requests for security. We do not attach your IP address to an enquiry, newsletter subscription or order record.

Cookies and browser storage

We use security cookies for checkout and private order access. They support a transaction or protect private access and are not advertising cookies. Your browser stores your cart locally and may keep a checkout attempt in tab storage so a retry can reuse it.

Optional website measurement

Newsletter subscription and marketing consent are separate from optional website measurement. If measurement is configured and enabled, Google Analytics 4 runs only after analytics consent and Meta Pixel only after advertising consent; you may choose either, both or neither and withdraw later. Browser events may include device, network, IP and campaign information.

Consented server events use product and order values and exclude direct contact and delivery details. Withdrawal stops future browser events and quarantines queued server events that have not been sent; events already sent remain subject to provider policies.

Payments and fulfilment

Stripe processes card payments. Order records in D1 support fulfilment, customer service, refunds and private order access. The information required for an order may include your name, email, phone number, delivery address, items, colours and order values.

Email engagement

Email open and click tracking is separate from website measurement and only operates when configured. Transactional messages and replies are separate from newsletter marketing.

Your choices and requests

You can unsubscribe from newsletter marketing using its one-click link. You can withdraw optional measurement consent through the site controls. To ask to see, correct or delete personal information, email hello@maik.com.au.
