Terms &conditions. — Maik, Melbourne: printed-to-order lighting

Who you're dealing with

Maik is a lighting studio in South Yarra, Melbourne, operated by MAIK PTY LTD (ABN 18 693 616 287). We sell online only, with no showroom or third-party stockists. These terms apply to every order placed at maik.com.au.

Printed to order

Every piece is printed to order. For order changes or dispatch enquiries, contact hello@maik.com.au.

Prices and payment

• All prices are in Australian dollars.
• Payment is taken in full at checkout. Nothing is printed until it clears.
• We can change prices whenever we like, but never after you've paid.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these terms limits those rights. To report a fault, email hello@maik.com.au with your order details and a description of the problem. Original packaging is not required for a faulty-product claim. We will reimburse reasonable return costs when a fault is confirmed.

Shipping

Tracked postage within Australia is a flat A$12 per order, added at checkout. There is no free-shipping threshold. Studio collection and international shipping are not available.

Change of mind

Contact hello@maik.com.au to ask about a change-of-mind return. Changing your mind does not by itself create a right to a refund under Australian Consumer Law. This does not limit your rights when goods are faulty, unsafe or do not match their description.

Changes, and which law applies

We may update these terms; the version that applies to your order is the one published when you paid. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
